ELECTION INFO & FAQ
When is the election?
Paper ballots for the 2025 Executive Board Election will be mailed out on Tuesday, October 14th to the address you have on file with TAG.
Your ballot must be received at the American Arbitration Association’s P.O. Box by 3:00pm (PST) on Friday, November 7th. You can also drop your ballot off in person no later than 3:00pm. (PST) on Friday, November 7th at the Foy Station Post Office, 1808 W 7th St. Los Angeles, CA 90057.
Ballots will be counted at the American Arbitration Association on Saturday, November 8th and TAG membership will be notified of the election outcome by Monday, November 10th.
Who can vote?
All Active members in Good Standing and who have paid their dues in full are eligible to vote. Members who are on Honorable Withdrawal or Suspension can reinstate to become eligible to vote by paying all dues/fees in full by 3:00p.m. (PST) on Friday, November 7th.
Please note: Reinstatement can take a few days so reach out no later than Wednesday, November 5th to begin the process.

what about new members?
If you’ve paid off all your dues, initiation fees, and assessments but have not submitted your IATSE membership application, you are not yet eligible to vote!
You must fill out your application and submit it no later than Friday, October 17th. Once it’s processed by both the TAG and IATSE offices, you will become an Active member in Good Standing and eligible to vote.
Please note: When you paid off your initiation fees, you should have received a digital link to the online application. If you cannot find this email or did not receive the link, please email Leah Semiken at leah.semiken@tag839.org to request one.
missing your ballot?
If you are eligible to vote and didn’t receive your ballot in the mail, please contact the American Arbitration Association’s Elections Administrator, Robi Rivera, at 626-260-7700 or email Robiriv11@gmail.com to request a duplicate ballot. The last date you can request a duplicate ballot is Saturday, November 1st.
WHAT IS THE EXECUTIVE BOARD?
Every three years, TAG members democratically elect a group of fellow members to serve on the Executive Board. As the governing body of our Union, the Board is tasked with representing the interests of TAG members, establishing long-term goals and strategies, and guiding the overall direction of TAG.
The Executive Board is comprised of the following roles:
